Bosselbacher yard is an outstanding example of self-consumption optimization. Through its highly efficient utilization of photovoltaic energy, it can self-consume a significant portion of the generated electricity. On sunny summer days, it achieves impressive results, as the solar installation converts nearly all daylight into usable energy, thereby minimizing the reliance on the grid to a minimum.

Aim of the project

The aim was to efficiently utilize the self-generated electricity. On sunny summer days, the Voltfang battery storage system enables the horse farm to be completely self-sufficient in its electricity supply. The battery discharges around 8-9 PM and is automatically recharged in the morning by the PV energy, ensuring guests an uninterrupted stay. On good, sunny summer days, the horse farm has almost no grid consumption.

Our customized solution

The commercial enery storage for the Bosselbacher Hof was designed with a usable capacity of 90 kWh and a power output of 50 kW. The energy storage unit measures 2100 x 1600 x 600 mm and is equipped with suitable inverters to ensure efficient power conversion.
