Implemented use cases
Aldi Nord focuses on peak load capping to reduce energy costs in its stores. Aldi Nord counts on peak shaving to reduce energy costs in its stores. Multi-use applications, such as the combination of electricity storage systems with charging stations for electric vehicles, contribute to an even more efficient use of energy.
Aim of the project
Aldi Nord’s project aimed to reduce energy consumption in the selected store and improve energy efficiency. To this end, an energy management system was implemented that includes several use cases, such as peak shaving and self-consumption optimization.
Our customized solution
The industrial energy storage system for the ALDI Nord store in Gütersloh was built with a gross capacity of 58 kWh and an output of 18 kW. The device measures 2000 x 400 x 800 mm and is equipped with matching inverters to ensure efficient power conversion.
