Aachen, July 13, 2023 – As part of his summer tour, Minister Robert Habeck attended the RWTH Aachen event “Renewal and Cohesion”. During his visit, Minister Habeck had the opportunity to speak with Voltfang founder David Oudsandji.
In a circular economy, products are designed to be durable, repairable, and reusable. After their initial use, they are not simply discarded but returned to the cycle. This means that materials are not only recycled, but also reused in other forms to manufacture new products.
Minister Habeck was impressed by Voltfang’s progress and spirit of innovation. He emphasized the importance of decentralized energy supply systems and their contribution to the energy transition.
This is exactly where Voltfang comes in: they maximize the batteries’ life cycle and give them a second life. In doing so, they provide the decentralized electricity storage needed in the grid and make companies more sustainable and more economically independent. 🌱
Through continuous research and development, Voltfang aims to further drive the energy transition and shape a sustainable future.
The best waste is the waste that never occurs in the first place.
