The Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) has launched an amazing funding opportunity to help entrepreneurs and sustainability pioneers set up fast-charging points with battery storage. To give you an idea of how the subsidy works, let’s assume that you buy a charging station with a total capacity of 300 kW and 2 charging points of 150 kW each, as well as a battery storage system from Voltfang for a total of €154,000.00 net. As an SME, you will receive a subsidy rate of 40%, which means that you will be fully reimbursed for around €60,000.
To benefit from this funding opportunity, you must submit an application to the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport.
