Efficient energy for mechanical engineering Myrenne
Myrenne GmbH from Roetgen has been a reliable partner in mechanical engineering for decades. With its own photovoltaic system and a scalable Voltfang battery storage system, the company is now also taking an innovative approach to energy supply: more self-consumption, less grid load and production that is more flexible and sustainable.
The Myrenne GmbH
- Location: Roetgen, North Rhine-Westphalia
- Industry: Mechanical engineering – comprehensive solutions for production and manufacturing
- In 2024, capacity was increased to 536 kWh.
Benefits for Myrenne
Implemented use case
The first Voltfang battery storage system was installed in Myrenne GmbH’s mechanical engineering department in 2023 – with impressive results. This was followed in 2024 by an expansion to 536 kWh capacity (284 kW output). The intelligent energy management system increases the self-consumption of the PV system, avoids peak loads in production and increases self-sufficiency in operations.
Aim of the project
Our customized solution
A Voltfang storage system with a capacity of 536 kWh and an output of 284 kW was installed. The system absorbs peak loads, increases security of supply and ensures that the self-generated solar power is available even when the sun is not shining. The 2024 extension shows how well the solution has proven itself in everyday use.
