Benefits for Sedo Treepoint
Implemented use case
With photovoltaics and battery storage, Sedo Treepoint was able to cover its electricity consumption independently. The stored energy not only keeps the production lines running, but also enables the operation of an electrified fleet. Flexible charging times and a supply that is independent of the grid increase production reliability and reduce operating costs at the same time.
Aim of the project
The company wanted to reduce costs and CO₂ emissions while modernizing its processes and gaining more independence from the public power grid. Another focus was on a future-proof charging infrastructure to meet the growing demand for electromobility at the site.
Our customized solution
Voltfang installed a 174 kWh battery storage system with a capacity of 50 kW and integrated an intelligent energy management system. This combination ensures that PV power is used optimally, load peaks are avoided and both production and the vehicle fleet are reliably supplied with energy.
