Implemented use case

A Voltfang storage system was installed outdoors to reliably supply packaging machines with electricity and at the same time provide charging points for fleets. This ensures a cheap and secure power supply, while the solar power generated by the 84 kWp PV system is efficiently stored and used. As a result, Kemapack benefits from a significant reduction in grid consumption and noticeably lower energy costs.

Aim of the project

Kemapack is pursuing the goal of operating in an ecologically sustainable manner and reducing operating costs at the same time. With the storage solution, the company’s own PV system is optimally integrated and the basis for a future-proof energy supply is created.

Our customized solution

The Voltfang second-life storage system installed has a capacity of 90 kWh and an output of 45 kW. It reliably stores the PV electricity generated and provides this flexibly for the packaging machines and charging infrastructure at the site.
