Battery Storage with Unlimited Charging Cycles – Voltfang sets a new Industry Standard
Aachen, May 20 2025 – Voltfang, a leading provider of green battery storage systems for industrial, commercial, and grid-scale applications, is expanding its warranty terms for battery storage systems. Effective immediately, the previous limit on charging cycles has been removed. Customers now benefit from a 10-year warranty on their battery, regardless of the number of charging cycles, for maximum flexibility and complete planning security.
Through systematic analysis of aging mechanisms under real-world conditions, Voltfang has been able to further develop its energy management system in a targeted manner. New intelligent control algorithms significantly minimize the cyclical aging of the battery. As a result, charging cycles no longer have a noticeable impact on capacity, which maximizes the service life of the batteries.

Thanks to unlimited charging cycles and maximum flexibility, Voltfang energy storage systems are particularly suitable for behind-the-meter energy trading, where frequent charging and discharging processes are necessary. The intelligent EMS ensures that the battery is operated gently even at high cycle frequencies, keeping performance constant and maximizing cost-effectiveness.

This innovation applies to all Voltfang 2 and Voltfang 2 Indoor systems used with Batteryflat and covers all existing applications, such as peak shaving and the optimization of dynamic electricity tariffs, right through to energy trading.
